Default need advice on tires please

Hello All.

Right now I have 235/75/15 tires on my 2000 durango 4.7,SLT I have been looking at 31-10.50/15 is there any brand I should get I drive it on the beach and my wife and I use it maybe 3 times a week on the road for short trips around town. But once in a while we will take it on a long trip like Myrtle beach S.C any help would be great.

Thank You

I used to have 31x10.5x15 Goodyear Duratracs and liked them. Right now I only have 235/75r15 (29.5" tires) and they're Goodyear Radial Wranglers and they're good, but I don't think they're quite as good as the Bridgestone Duelers that were on it for a brief time before the Wranglers. The best tires I have ever had were the Pirelli Scorpios, but they are a bit pricier.

I have had bfg AT in everything from rocks to sand bowls. 35/12.5/15 on a 5200+ Durango is not bad. Long life, severe weather tire, less expensive than compatition. I do off road race photos and chase truck. Been in a lot of terrain.

I have goodyear duratracs and love them, handle loads and any off road terrain better than the bfg all-terrain ta ko's my friends have used. They are also are a great winter tire, ok on ice but they eat through snow. I have two complaints. They are very heavy for there size, even more so than the bfgs, which cut my fuel economy by 1mpg city and hwy. Also I'm only looking at getting 35-40k miles out of them. Granted I'm hard on tires but I what can you do, they didnt (don't if they do know either) have a mileage warranty.
