should be on top of block coming off upper radiator hose. It is a torx screw.

follow the top radiator hose to the block. where the hose goes into the block there is a threaded bolt, i believe it has an internal hex (allen key style) head on it, loosen this while the engine is running and you will see a little coolant and bubbles coming out, run the truck until the bubbles stop

direct from the FSM (page 213 from the 2002 FSM) http://www.mediafire.com/view/?2cg2hgim2zz
(1) Tighten the radiator draincock and the cylinder
block drain plug(s) (if removed).
CAUTION: Failure to purge air from the cooling sys-
tem can result in an overheating condition and
severe engine damage.
(2) Remove the cooling system bleed plug from the
radiator upper hose inlet housing. (Fig. 8)Fill system
using a 50/50 mixture of ethylene-glycol antifreeze
and low mineral content water, until coolant begains
coming out of the cooling system bleed hole. Install
the cooling system bleed plug. Fill radiator to top and
install radiator cap. Add sufficient coolant to the
reserve/overflow tank to raise level to FULL mark.
(3) With heater control unit in the HEAT position,
operate engine with radiator cap in place.
(4) After engine has reached normal operating
temperature, shut engine off and allow it to cool.
When engine is cooling down, coolant will be drawn
into the radiator from the reserve/overflow tank.
(5) Add coolant to reserve/overflow tank as neces-
sary. Only add coolant to the reserve/overflow
tank when the engine is cold. Coolant level in a
warm engine will be higher due to thermal
expansion. To purge the cooling system of all air,
this heat up/cool down cycle (adding coolant to cold
engine) must be performed three times. Add neces-
sary coolant to raise tank level to the FULL mark
after each cool down period.

ok I still have an overheating issue with mine i bled coolant replaced thermostat and new rad cap and i noticed now i dont think my electric fan is turning on. is there a direct replacement for it that i can get from autozone or does it have to be a random aftermarket fan that i have to wire up and everything?

there should be a direct replacement for the fan, however if it overheats while driving (highway driving where you are constantly moving) i would expect there to still be something else going on.

now its only while idling. also for the fan its connector is under the shroud on beneathe the car right? we think we found it and tested a volt meter and with a/c on and vehicle running it was getting no power. is there a fuse or relay for the fan?

there should be a relay in the PDC for it, swap it with the horn relay or another relay with the same part number

pdc is the power distribution center, the black box under the hood with all the fuses and relays in it.
