3k miles ago i had my tranny rebuilt in Washington because it locked up on the highway. I moved to Texas and the shop that did it wont validate the warranty here. It wants to go either around 2k rpm or redline. I noticed today there was no relay in the fuse panel for the tranny. I dont know if it was taken out for some reason, i dont wan to put it in and mess it up. Should i throw the horn relay in and see if it fixes it. Fluid is full, clean ext. Please help haha.

You can try putting the relay in and see what happens. But don't tell anyone that you did. If that didn't fix the problem, How is the shop that did the repairs going fix your problem in texas? Are they going to fly someone out. Or do they want you to remove the transmission and send it back to them?

 

we need more information, which transmission are we working on here? if you dont know then tell us what you do know about the truck
