Default battery cable replacement help

So I want to replace the whole battery cable and not just the ends.

Where do the positive and negative cables hook to? Does the positive hook to the alternator and the negative to the starter?

Best thing to do with that is to trace them back.

There are 2 Positive wires, one goes down to the starter and the other goes over to the PDC. the negative wire grounds to the frame somewhere.

Does the alternator not feed directly into the battery though? I thought it did. Also if you plan on running off-road lights, winch, e-locker or a compressor for air ones, I would do a couple of extra grounds so the added equipment can function as efficiently as possible. A buddy of mine did on his blazer and it idled a lot smoother and seem to just function a tiny bit better.

No, it feeds into the PDC and is fused by the main 140? fuse.
