Default 03 Durango R/T Blend Door/Vents Issues

Hello All,
I've trolled these forums looking at the various issue encountered with blend doors. Here is what has happened. I don't drive this vehicle often but began to notice that not a lot of air was coming out of the front vents, and often there would be air to the feet and defrost.

Forums pointed me to vacuum leak and sure enough I found two lines that were frayed where they connected to the dealio next to the battery. They were leaky enough to hear the vacuum leak. I replaced those with generic vacuum line from the auto parts store, and my vents began to operate properly. I high five'd myself and told my wife what a stud I am.

About a month later, out of nowhere, I turn on the AC on a hot day, feel no air, and crank it up, and its full blast to the defrost/feet, regardless of what position I dial. I spend a few days in the forum, and now I am confused as to whether the 03 Durango Blend doors are vacuum controlled or electronically controlled. I can find no source of vacuum leaks.

Where should I be focusing the investigation now?

the vacuum leak repair was a coincidence, in 2001 they did away w/ the vacuum actuators and switched to electric ones, idk why it started behaving when you fixed the vacuum leak before.

you most likely have a jambed directional door in the dashboard.

I just went out and removed the vent and shone a light in there. The driver side right vent is clearly in the closed position. I was able to gently pry it open. I move the **** and can see it is attempting to move, although by just a very little bit. Do you suppose this is the actuator motor going bad, or just stuck and in need of a serious exercising?

if it were me i would attempt to help the doors into the position they are trying to rotate to, if they move all the way when you help them along and keep functioning they were just stuck, if you cant move them they are jammed, if they move when you help them but not on their own its the actuators.
