How do I know if my used Durango has had it recalls taken care of?

How do I know if my used Durango has had it recalls taken care of?

I bought my 02 Durango RT 4x4 5.9L used and would like to see if all the recalls were done to it. Is there a place that tracks that type of info? Thank you for your time.

If you know where the previous owner lived you may get lucky and find all the information at their local service station. Recalls usually have to be done at dealership service centers and they do keep those records.

call your dealership with the VIN# all recalls which are outstanding will come up, and the should be able to give you an idea of when the ones which were performed were done

You can also request a build sheet at www.dodge.com/owners and at the end of the build list they will alert you to any recalls that they donot have record of correcting.
