hello, im new to this forum and have found it very informatriona in many other things i do to my truck but i do have 2 questions


1. last week i went offroad with some buddies and went into a mud whole. I believe my rack and pinion wentunder water and when i came out i had to power steering for a minute any ideas?

2. is there any possible way to converte my rack and pinion to the older style 1998 durango steering box with all the goodies?

 

1) something was probably stuck in the mechanism, check the ps fluid and make sure to clean ll the mud off, if it stays gone dont worry about it

2) not in an affordable way
