Default Electrical Problem

I have a 2002 slt 4x4 with the 4.7. The other day I was hooking up an amp to the stereo when I accidently hooked the power wire into a speaker wire teminal. Now my stereo won't work along with the interior lights and the tripometer resetes itself eveytime I turn it off. When I first start it up the gear selecter will work throw all the settings and then it goes back to normal. It doesn't actually engage any gears the light just flashes up each selection before going back to park. I have a fuse for everything in the stereo and nothing blew out. I checked all the fuses in both locations but nothing looks blow. Anybody knows what might be wrong.

I do not know what is causing those yhings to happen. But if all the fuses are good,
I would disconnect the battery, wait about 5 minutes and reconnect it.

Just a thought, it might reset your BCM.

I had a bad interior light fuse. It's one of those you can only pull out half way. Anyways it was in a place I couldn't see the break, Kind of weird that a light fuse would make all sorts of things not work.
