Yeah they can have transmission coolers. My 1999 Durango with a 5.9 had one when I got it, and I replaced it with an aftermarket version after I accidentally dropped the old one while changing the radiator. The new one I bought cost me around $60 at O'Reilly. I am sure that one can be added, but it will take one of the more knowledgeable members to tell you how exactly.

i found a neet part. it is an external trans filter. the one that fits chrysler trans is auto zone 2210, magna-fine. fits 3/8 tubing. be sure to ONLY use steel tubing if you have to add tubing, and high pressure hose. i hope not. other brands might need wix 58964, 5/16 tubing. REMEMBER most trans use high pressure fluid in cooler lines. NEW subject a co. named nicopp has a tubing for brake lines, it uses new technology, it bends good, and rust is resistant. but brake lines still need to be double flared.
