Front hubd always engaged

I have a 2000 Durango and the front hubs sound like they are always engaged Any help?

The hubs are always active, the drivetrain is deactivated via the transfer case (switch on dash or manual on floor). If not in 4wd it's possible you have a bad bearing or joint in the shaft.

yup as stated the only disconnect in the front end is at the t-case, the entire front driveline is always spinning
