So I have to pull my LSD to replace my clutch packs... Any words of advice?

I would highly recommend taking it to a drivetrain shop. The removal and installation of the clutch packs requires a special spreader tool to relieve the 200+ pound pressure spring. Some guys say they can do it without it, but that means the spring is worn out and you will never get the full potential of the clutches.. Trust me, I work on these EVERYDAY.

Here read this. I think that is for a 9.25" diff but it should be a good reference before you start.

For me the hardest part was setting up the back lash. Hard to do without setup bearings. I never did get it quite right. Lasted about 4 months in the back of a Trans am before they chewed themselves apart again
