Default 1998 Durango

HI , thanks for any help in advance . I just replaced upper and lower ball joints on 98 durango 4wd . I raised the tire off the ground just to check if I had taken any of the play out . Up and down is good . Side to side I still have quite a bit of play . What should I be looking for next ? I noticed when I was putting axel back on , the inner bolts there was play in that box. I am not sure what part it is . I am pretty sure the play is the same on both sides . Any suggestions much appreciated .

When you move your tire side to side do the Tie Rod ends have slop in them? You can basically lay under the front and wiggle the tire while watching all of the connections all the way back to the steering box to see where the slop is at
