PCM replaced and key programming..
This has been kinda covered before...
When I bought my 02 durango the seller stated the PCM had been replaced(at least I think it was the PCM) and they were going back to the dealer to have the keys programmed. Which didn't happen. The seller gave me 2 key fobs and keys, truck starts and runs fine, just no power locks..
The dealer wants $120?!?!...
Local locksmith wants $45, but can't guarantee they can program it because of the pcm swap, but it's $45 either way.
Should I gamble with the locksmith or just head to the dealer?

the PCM swap would have no effect on key fob functionality, that would be CTM, and if the locksmith has to tool to program them id have it done by him and save the money but its your money so its your choice
