Default 2001 Dodge Durango SLT intake

Does something like this really increase "horse power, torque, and gas mileage?"

I doubt it, you'd still be sucking in hot air from the engine bay. You'd be better off doing the diy homebrew intake. A lot of people on here, including myself, have done this. Check it out over in the diy section.

+1 on the homebrew. The extra airflow wont help much either unless you upgrade the TB, the stock one can only flow so much air at once. Like that_guy said, you would just be sucking in hot air from the engine bay causing minimal gains to HP or fuel economy.
