I am going to be replacing the heater core on my 1999 Durango 5.9l, I am aware that this is a pain in the butt job, I would like to know if there are any specialty tools involved or if the usual suspects will get the job done. Thanks all!

 

Here is a video that shows the process of the heater core replacement... While you have the dash apart i would also advise to have the A/C evaporator replaced a well... its located in the same box as the heater core and if it fails later on you will have to remove the whole dash again.
