Default Outside mirror question....

So is it true that there is only one option for a mirror on a 2000 Durango? I have big dorky mirrors that I would love to trade someone for smaller one...And they are heated too....

I have small on our 2000 Durango, pretty sure they are factory. Mine are not heated though.

The big "dumbo" ones are the tow mirrors, which are power heated. The smaller ones are power, but not heated. The 01-03 tow mirrors are much nicer looking and are power and heated (some are auto dimming too). You'll have to double check, but I'm pretty sure they will bolt on, but the connectors are a little different, but can be swapped.

I have the small dorky sport mirrors non folding, no heat, power adjustable only. they SUCK for towing, and the only mirrors I can get to extend for towing also SUCK. wish I could put on something that could slide out for towing like newer trucks have, that would be awesome

I'm in Texas and don't need heated mirrors and don't tow or off road with it either...I would much rather have the smaller ones...Are yours power adjustable? And is yours a daily driver?

I would be willing to trade you the smaller ones for the bigger dorky ones if we can figure a way to swap without our rigs going down during the shipping process...

Edit: sorry didn't see the first trade offer but, would still be willing if it does not work out with the first offer.

I need to know they will bolt up on my car...I was told the mirrors I have are the only ones that will fit...The other thing is, are they powered? I don't care about being heated...Can y'all post pictures of the ones you have?
I will be glad to park my car and get mine shipped out so theres no down time on the other end...Plus if I need to drive, I work for the Sheriffs department...lol...
