Default Front and rear diff

I am looking to upgrade my gears in my 2001 durango. I am wondering if there are any other vehicles that are compatible with out 9.25 rearends? I have 3.55's and am looking for either 3.92's or 4.10's. I do alot of towing, but i am on the highway often as well so i don't want to do 4.56's

The durangos and the Dakotas share the same gears for sure as they are the same axles... Rams may have the same gears but, the axle it self might be longer.

The rams are totally different axles as far as i know. Durangos and Dakotas have a corporate rear and rams have Dana rears (to the best of my knowledge)

the 9.25 was used in the ram lineup for a while, but was longer than the one used in our trucks

however if you are going to re do the gearing you would be better off putting new gears in anyway, just go to a gear shop and tell them what you want
