Angry PCV Location

Where is the PVC valve on a 2000 4.7 Durango. I hear it's a bear to change. Any suggestiong??

It's on the side of the oil filler tube. Disconnect the hose, twist to unlock and then pull.

+1 side of the oil fill tube, not that hard to change, just be careful putting the new one in that you dont break the tab off (push it all the way in before twisting the new one in)

Perhaps I'm one of the few that also can't seem to find the PVC valve. What AutoZone sold me looks to be too small. Or perhaps I don't know what I'm looking at. Does the hose in the picture connect to the PVC valve? Is it around the back of the block? If so, it's super hard to get to.
Any suggestions?

It's on the oil FILL tube, not the dipstick tube. It's just to the right of the air filter housing.

If you got the correct part, it'll rattle inside when you shake it.

I got it. Didn't realize it was actually attached to the filler.
