To Sell or to Re-Build?!

To Sell or to Re-Build?!
"More Repairs, different tax session"--To sell or to keep is the question/issue at hand after a year of headaches and a couple lost jobs....
Im debating and stumped on if I am going to sell or keep "re-building" my 2K Dodge D.Rattlez SLT Plus, 2wd, 5.9 engine. *Neglectful previous owner* We (wife & I) had it for about a year now and already put in/changed:
new tranny ($3k) after 4 months of having it, water pump & belt($100),2nd set of oem 15" wheels due to brake caliper pin bolt strip-outs($300), caliper pin bolt repairs & rigging's($100), &we just got the driver side spindle-upper arm-hub-brake assemble due to it dropping($350)..... And it does smoke a bit when its cold, so thats either engine(apprx.$4k for crate) and/or 0/2 sensors.....
Its no longer the "kids-ride" cause we were blessed with a 2006 Dodge G.C SXT....
Originally for the D I just wanted to do a "Beefy-Upgrade" on horsepower, front suspension lift/level with rear helper springs, class 4 hitch, simple black 16 or 17's wheels/a-t tires, and paint some of the D black, and new black/tinted lights....?
The other (money) issue is that we just bought our first (fixer-upper) family house.... anyways....
Shall I just keep re-building or sell it for another p.o.s???
Any help will do, help me untangle my mind!!

Well guys it makes a bit of sense by now, finally out the shop. The mechanic I have is a good guy so I'll just continue to have him as my family auto "crew chief". Driver side spindle, hub, brake assembly & labor was $350. Passenger side will be cheaper since its just the brakes and hub. The SUV don't rattle no more, but the name: 2K.Rattlez will stay.... Oh and 2K cause its a 2000 year.... Again Thanks for pulling me off the cliff edge, again.
