Default HID retrofit

Just wondering has anybody retrofitted projector lenses in their fog lights or headlights? I do have hid's in both the headlights and fog lights. The fog lights look very doable but im wonfering about the headlights, how doable are they? I've seen a couple pictures and they look good. I have aftermarket headlights, same as in the picture.

Also, I have a 55w kit in right now. I've heard they might generate too much heat in a small housing like a projector. Should i shell out the money for a new 35w kit or can i just keep my 55w kit in?

I wouldn't use the 55w kit in it since you could damage the reflective coating on the bowl since those particular projectors are smaller. You should definitely only run 35w in those projectors.

Thats what I thought. Thanks, do you know of anybody retrofitting their fog lights? Or would the projector housing be to deep to put in the fog light housing?

I know that a guy (logikfive) over on durangoclub.com that built custom fog lights around projectors. Our foglights are pretty shallow so you'd probably have to cut a hole in the back of the foglight for a projector to stick out.
