My son has a 99 Durango that the wipers and washer suddenly quit working. I have not had a chance to do much more than check the relay, and he says he has checked all the fuses, all appear to be fine. Has anyone else ran into this problem? I would like to know of anything else to check before I start ripping into the steering column .

check the fuses w/ a multi-meter or replace anyway, a visual inspection is not sufficient to determine if a fuse is good or not

if its just the front wipers that are out (the rear still works) i would look at either the multi-function stalk (on the steering column) or a wiring issue as the culprit
