Lvphotos runs 35s. The front axles are weak on it but the bigger problem is fitting that big of tire

I have 35" BFG AT. Tuff Country lift with extra rear leaf I cut out of old pack and fiberglass front fenders. There is still contact with tires at full tilt. I have a 318 and still out run hemis. Go to my cardomain page there are links to me using my truck. Also here under show your Durango. I still run the factory 3.92 gears.

im running 35's with 3" body lift 3" torsions in front 3'' shackles in back and thats with pro comp x-terrains and i have very little rub at full tilt in front and i dont let it bother me power wise my 5.9L does just fine with a few mods and i can smoke both back tires with no problems with a detroit locker and im runnin 3.55 gears yeah i expect wheel bearings once a year and ball joints every 2 years but thats bout all for my issues. I also have the 9.25 rear axle too. My thought is it works fine for me and my wants and can still spin my tires, off road with no tire changing, and run down the highway at 100 mph with no issues!!

Ya power isn't an issue, if you feel that it is an issue drop in some 4.10 or 4.56 gears. I would love 35's but 33's are more practical if you do lots of towing/heavy towing.

Thanks for the responses guys. I didn't think power would be an issue and I planned on going to some 4.56 gears anyway in the future it was just fitting and mainly the axle I was concerned about. Performance wise off road what do you think would work better for a durango? Id think 35s generally but I can't help but feel like it would be fragile with 35s on it thinking about all the things I've read about could happen with them on it regarding the suspension system and parts because of the stress put on them by the tires
