Good news is, the front universal joints aren't bad. Bad news, front universal joints are not bad. I'm looking for a blow up or a rebuild manual for front differential. I've found one for a 99 Dakota. Anyone know if the Dakota front differential is the same?

 

the dakota driveline and the durango driveline from 99 should be the same (same front diff, only difference might be driveshaft length)

 

Any good recommendations for a good rebuild or specification manual? Junk yard wants a couple hundred for used and parts for a complete rebuild will be around $400. I found an exploded view and a rebuild doesn't seem too bad. I'm going through mine bumper to bumper so I don't mind doing a rebuild. I haven't found any rebuilts online yet.
