Default New battery/now Stalls at Idle(computer?)

Hey Guys- quick question, i just put a new battery in my 2003 Durango 4.7 and only had time to drive it a mile or so during my Lunch break- however after putting in New battery it wanted to Stall out while in Idle- do I have to reset the computer or will it do it on its own after driving it for a few more miles? i've read different scenarios on this issue, just wanted to get some 'professional' solutions and if anyone has had this issue after installing New battery- thanks for any input

To reset disconnect the negative terminal, turn the key to start for 30 seconds, then reconnect the negative. That will reset the computer.

when you removed the battery you reset the PCM to factory defaults, give it a week or so and see if it goes away, if so dont worry about it
