Default logical off road tips

my 1999 5.9ltr durango is my family rig but we also enjoy some off road and mudding what are some logical tips ..... such what size lift should I do as well as tires I should purchase keep in mind I have three kids so money is important

Well a t/s lift will give you 2in for about $80, 3in body lift for $230-280, for 5 in total. Then you could fit some 33's under it.

This is the most logical. I've been able to do some modest off roading with the stick lift and tires.

The 31x10.5x15s faired well on most my desert race photo and chase dutys. Cranked the torsion bars and fit 33x12.5x15s, they rubbed but I would run a 10.5 or 11.5 if I did it again. I still run the stock shackle with the flip kit that came with the 5.5" Tuff Country. I did make an add-a-leaf. Running 35s with same lift fiberglass fenders.
