Default Throttle Cable Adjustment 4.7

While I was working on my truck this weekend, I noticed there was about 3/8 of an inch of slack in my throttle cable at the throttle body. I had been noticing a slight dead spot at the top of the gas pedal as well. Not sure if this hurts performance but I wanted to adjust the cable to take up the slack. I didn't see any visible adjustment points near the throttle body or at the pedal? How do I adjust the cable?

As a quick fix, I crimped a split shot lead fishing weight at the end of the throttle cable to take up the slack for now. Good temporary fix but want to fix it correctly.
