Default 01 Durango Transmission Slipping

My 45RFE transmission is slipping in cold weather. I've read alot of the posts on slipping but none seem to match my problem. It started last winter. From a cold start, it slips alot and barely moves for the first few minutes until it warms up a little. Once warm, it runs fine. Fluid level is fine and I have it changed regularly. However, I can't be sure that the place that changed it used MOPAR. Don't seem to have the problem in the summer time. After having this problem last winter, I put a quart of Lucas Transmission Fix in last summer, but have the problem again this winter. The colder the morning, the worse the problem.

Have you tried swapping the Throttle Position Sensor?

In cold, I was getting an odd 4-5-4 shift if the trans wasn't warmed up. I replaced it about 2 weeks ago, and haven't got it sense. It's a quick $25 part and easy swap.

Adding any Transmission fixer type things to your transmission fluid will almost certainly destroy your transmission eventually.
