Default Help!!! Back window about to fall!

When i go around in the street a really annoying sound come from the back window. Ive touched it and its a bit loose. Like if i go through a big hole in the street it will fall.

Do i make myself clear? I want to put some silicone on it.... But what do you think?

i think silicone will work just fine, however you may be replacing it on a regular basis, i would look into windshield adhesive (it might be silicone based for all i know) as taht is meant to handle the heat/cold/vibration (harsh enviornment) in automotive use.

Any automotive glass shop can reinstall it correctly with the proper adhesive a lot easier and faster than you can and I'd bet for less than an hour labor. The real cost with automotive glass replacement is the new glass...which you do not need. It'll take them no time at all to clean off the old adhesive, apply new, and install PROPERLY.

Trust me, off the shelf silicon will not hold up or last and you'll be doing this over and over. Just take it to a shop that specializes in automotive glass and have them do it right and you'll probably never have to deal with it again.

In addition to that, secure it with duct tape unless it's about to fall out completely. And if that's the case, see if it will pop out completely. That way you can safely transport it to the glass shop without being concerned about it falling out.
