Ok according to my VIN I have the 5.2 V8 magnum in the truck, With that said is their anything I should know about this engine?, is it a good one? does it have alot of issues, I got around 124K on it & shes got some umph when I giver er, Seems like a stroong motor up to this point but damn she sucks the gas...

Oh yeah, it's a real solid motor. If just do the usual maintenance it'll take care of you for another 100,000 miles easily; it's not uncommon for over 300,000 miles on one of these. Just to give you an idea my 1969 Plymouth which has the same basic engine (minus fuel injection) has over 300,000 miles on it with no major repairs to the engine or transmission.

I'm not sure what numbers you're seeing, but I around 14mpg in mine (12 city 16-17 highway).

It's better on MPG than 360 with little add one it gets same HP and torque. I get same 13-14 average with peak 18 rolling 35" bfg at and 3.92 gears.

yea right now im getting around 8mpg, I do tho gotta get a tune up & oil change.

yeah, that's very low, even if I go around gunning it I still get better than that

Are you putting in ethenal? When I was in Iowa last summer the gas station would sometimes carry only corn in all three pumps. Sucks when you go for premium and still get corn.
