Default Fog Light Question

I have a 2001 D,RWD, SLT with the factory fog lights. I looked in sticky and could not find any one addressing my question so here goes. The factory housings which are plastic are hazed over. I know I could buy a buffing kit but I would like to swap them out for a glass fog light preferably a real yellow fog light. Have any of you tried this and how is it working for you know? If you have tried this where did you purchase the lamps? Thanks

I got some yellow fogs with halos for xmas last year but i have not installed them yet for a few reasons. You could also buy the tint or get some yellow piaa bulbs as a replacement.

There are 3 routes you could go here and all would work equally well.

1) You could get a set of clear glass fog lights put yellow bulbs in them.
(easiest)

2) You could get a set of yellow glass fog lights to install.
(maybe a little harder to find the housings)

3) You could get a set of clear glass fog lights and tint them yellow with film or that fancy yellow chrome paint.
(doing the paint right can be a bit tricky, and the film will need changed occasionally)

The mounting would have to be custom though, you could either do it all on your own, or modify the current fog lights bracket to hold new ones.
