Hey all so i was driving to the wreckers to swap out driveshaft. Went to leave and put in 2wd and pretty well had to rev up to 2500-3rpm's just to get moving. once moving it took longer to shift and when i tried to acceleration quicker it would down shift back to first,then second and continue to 3rd im pretty sure. I threw codes p0731,p0732,p0733(1st,2nd,3rd gear ratio wrong. p1784,p0181,p01787,p0400 as of now. Fluid level is good and changed 2 months ago with filter.any help? or anyone know of common issues i cant find online? Also my e-brake light and abs light is on.thanks!

Not to sound like an *** but, you should probably want longer then less than 2 hours to get a response.. We are a forum full of of people that log on whenever life allows them some free time.. I'm sure someone will have a good answer to help you just give it time...

no problem... i personally know nothing about the 45rfe trans or i would do what i could to help you out... Try sending a PM to Mastertech... he is our transmission guru here and he may be able to help you out..

 

Have you tried replacing the speed sensors but input and output?

If you have tried that already you might want to take it into the shop, it could be something wrong with the solenoid or valve body

 

my brake light and abs light is on(speedo works). I have done the rear end speed sensor but not the transmission ones

 

The input sensor does the shifting in the transmission the output does shifting and will effect the speedo

The sensors are cheap and it might be worth looking into before you end up diving into something really expensive like a valve body or solenoid.

 

So today I found the trans cooler return filter(screws in) in the bottom of my pan! Got all new and atf+4 and slapped the old girl back together..All seemed good while minor gear selecting. And then toped off once warm in neutral. Now when i drive i get intoi 2nd gear and up to 3.5 grand and it acts like it wants to go into third but kicks down into my alternate 2nd gear kick down....at which point i got to put in selector "2" to get home...any one?
