Default Another problem

Clunk or knock coming from left wheel when stopping or turning right entering and exiting a parking lot. This happens in forward or reverse. I replaced most of the front suspension parts in 2004. I haven't been able to find the cause, so I started replacing the warrantied items. So far CV axle was replaced, had play and made a knocking sound. The lower ball joint was replaced, next will be the tierods. Still haven't found the source, the upper ball joint will be next and then the sway bar bushings. The control arms are tight, no play at all. All items being replaced have a lifetime warranty, so no out of pocket expense for me. In replacing things separately, I'm trying to find the exact cause. The only expense I see is for the control arm and sway bar bushings. I'm now waiting for good weather to continue working on the "D"

I have a 99 durango and I have the exact same problem that came about shortly after I had an alignment done. Ive replaced half the front suspension and steering components. Check your caliper bolts though, I know that can sometimes cause a clunk on turns if a bolt is loose.

I replaced the upper and lower ball joints. The CV axle and the inner and outer tierods. All have a lifetime warranty so no out of pocket expense for me. I'll be checking the sway bar bushings and the control bolts next. The caliper bolts are good and tight. All the parts changed needed it with the exception of the upper ball joint.

Congratulation's you get the prize, it was the camber adjustments on the control arm. If I had thought ahead, I would've thanked you in the video. I'll always remember to check the bolts after every alignment. Thx for the advice. Here's the video;

Update; No noise since my last post, so I guess that means problem solved. Next I'll be changing the brakes and all the fluids.
