Default rear end swap, and superchips

me again :/

so, i want to put rear disc brakes on my '00 2wd on a budget. What I have found is that this type of project sucks. apparently 9.25 drum rear end flanges are different from the disc rear end flanges, and a rear end swap from the '03 d has problems of its own (strut mounts, etc). I have found a 9.25 rear from a 2000 dodge 1500 pickup with disc brakes, anyone know if this will be an easy fit?

On another note, i found a used superchips for 40 bucks for my 5.2L good buy? are the gains really as good as all the hype?

superchips programmers are worth buying for the gains that you get $40 is a good price just do it, you get a couple different tunes for power, mpg, ect

no the ram 1500 rear end will not fit on the D the ram is wider by a significant amount your best/only bet is a swap from a 2003 dakota durango
