Default Over sized caliper bolt question

Bought my Durango used.. shortly after i changed the brake pads, but had to use a Dorman oversized caliper bolt, due to the bolt hole being striped.

Here soon im going to be getting new rotors, calipers, and pads, do i just reuse the oversized bolt? its self tapping, so cant help to think that using it twice could cause further damage.

Use it twice, three, four times is fine. Run it out very easy and hand thread it back in like a normal bolt. You do NOT want it to be cutting any new threads the next usage. If you are careful and get the bolt in straight, by hand, smooth and easy, you can use it over and over.

If you mess it up, new knuckle time or heli-coil (easier and cheaper) time.

It's not a silly question if you genuinely didn't know.
