i was wondering if anyone makes a cargo cover for the 1998-2003 durangos. i've looked on ebay but the only ones i have seen fit 04 and up

 

I've never seen a cargo cover for the Gen1 Durango. You'd likely have to make something yourself if you really want one that bad.

There was a cargo cover made for Gen 1 D's
It was not the retractable style. It actually hooked on second row headrest post and stretched over third row(even if they were up) In the rear you had to install 2 rubber sockets where you would hook the cover, to tighten it there were straps at second row to tighten. It was cumbersome at best.
Doubt you will find one but they occasionally pop up
