Can anybody tell me how to disable the airbags on a 2000 Dodge durango 4.7? I am in the process of changing the heater core, but am not sure how to turn off airbags before I take dash out. Thanks!

 

From the FSM:

"DISCONNECT AND ISOLATE THE BATTERY NEGATIVE (GROUND)
CABLE. THEN WAIT TWO MINUTES FOR THE SYSTEM CAPACITOR TO DISCHARGE BEFORE FURTHER SYSTEM SERVICE. THIS IS THE ONLY SURE
WAY TO DISABLE THE AIRBAG SYSTEM."

 

Thanks I did that and then found the airbag plug and disconnected that too
