Well, upon changing the plugs, we realized that it had a serious vacuum issue. With further investigation and hose tracking, we discovered that the entire vacuum system had been rerouted WRONG. So, I rockauto'd new parts and we are dismantling the system to install all new hoses and components! Whoever had this truck before me, must have been an autopart store employee (ie. an IDIOT!)!

Some people are just plain idiots when i comes to cars but, they may be awesome at something else. With having a family member who is a store manager at Autozone i know for a fact that he is told by his boss to "fill the gaps" even if it mean hiring someone who has no clue what things are.

My very first vehicle a 1972 Chevy C-10 i bought for $200 bucks from a guy that i went to school with. He thought i was an idiot for buying it because he could not get it to run in the 9 months. He really filled his pants, later that afternoon when i drove past him in it while he was walking down the street. Turns out the reason he could not get it running was because he had the carb on backwards and the bores did not line up to give the motor fuel.
