Default Blower motor resister suggestion

When you replace your blower motor resistor you may want to consider what I did. It is always the the dark blue / white wires that has toasted the harness connector. I pulled the wire from the connector and soldered it to
the black wire thus eliminating it from the resister pack. Ultimately the benefit to doing this is that even if the resister pack pukes you will always still have high.
If you decide to do this - please know that the average Harry the Honeowner soldering iron isn't going to get this done. There are pretty heavy gauge wire.

Have you check to see if there was a repair kit for the connector? That would come with wires and a connector.

M.T. - the last time it went I checked with the stealer and there was nothing.
This time around I went to a few bone yards and every one that was not already cut out was cooked just like mine.
I checked with a few onlince wiring places like Painless Wiring and couldn't find anything.
