Question Transfer Case & Front/Rear Axle Fluid Questions & Tutorials

i everyone,

I have a 2000 dodge durango 4.7. I am following the service guide and based on my miles its calling for a fluid change for the front transfer. I assume they mean the front transfer box with the big rubber circle?

Manual is saying 2.5 pts capacity? Not sure if I have HD or not but they are both the same amount. The Front axle which is located right next to the engine oil pan by the drivers side uses gear oil as does the rear axle (read axle gets friction modifier)? What should I look for at the auto parts store?

The transfer box which has 2 screws from what I just saw (Mine says 231 D) Not sure what to make of the D since I only see no letter and "HD" below.

Transfer Case
NV231 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1.2 L (2.5 pts.)
NV231–HD . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1.2 L (2.5 pts.)

Does this sound correct? I also want to do the rear pumpkin (axle). Again not sure which size I have. Based on it being a 4.7 I am going to assume its 4.4pts. But rather verify with you guys.

Rear Axle
8-1/4 in. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.1 L (4.4 pts.)*
9-1/4 in. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.3 L (4.9 pts.)*

Anyone have any links or tutorials for getting this done? I am assuming that I would need to use ATF 4 for both right?
