Assuming we are talking about the 4.7L, when I changed mine, I had to use a really long flathead screwdriver to act as a small pry bar to pull it out. As long as the 3 mounting bolts, the 1 bolt for the lines, and all connections are removed up top, there is nothing holding it down below that I can recall. Just a tight fit

Thanks for the replies. I kind of figured it was just a very tight fit, did not want to break anything though.
