Default 5.9L randomly dies when I stop

I was up in the mountains today having some fun and drove through a stream that was maybe a foot and a half deep, after getting through my D started idling strange, after about ten minutes it started running normal again. Now every 5th stop or so my D will just die on me. It drives normal when driving things are at normal RPMs and such but will just shut off, and then it takes a few minutes for it to fire back up. I have no idea what this could be I am thinking something electrical, but dont know what. Any suggestions will help. Thank you.

Check your battery terminals, if you were off roading a bit. Also if this had not just happened right after off roading I would suggest replacing the battery. I replaced mine today because of a weird idle, random cel lights, and dying. All issues went away as soon as the battery was replaced. The old battery show 11.23volts btw. (also I reset the computer multiple times while installing a new electric fan so I know the battery did resolve my issue.)

Do you know if you got the engine bay pretty soaking wet when you went playing? Possible your PCM may have gotten quite wet. You may need to pull the wiring harness out and blow some air to dry out the connections. Get some electrical grease to provide some moisture proof barrier to help keep the water out.
