Has anyone cut open one of these? I was wondering about them. I am about ready to change oil and not going to buy Fram. The local auto parts store has Fram, K&N and STP oil filters. Was also wondering if I maybe should just go to stealership and get a MOPAR one. Any input appreciated.

Well decided to go ahead and get a MOPAR filter and Mobil1. Also went ahead and got plugs since it has been a year since they have been changed. And yes they are Champion coppers Happy Memorial Day to everyone and a big Thank You to our troops past and present!

 

We have a thread in the DIY section where several where cut up if your still interested. I don't recall what one but, check it out.

 

Thanks I checked out the DIY thread and the K&N that the store had wasnt in there so I just went with the MOPAR one. Appreciate it though, I have been on this forum for some time now and read most, just don't post much.

 

@jjphurst...i second your comment....to all the veterans and active duty on this site, from a veteran..happy memorial day and thanx for your commitment, dedication and sacrafice. I use a k&n oil filter/k&n trans filter on my 99 Shelby d and have had no problems. Got it from summit racing.
