Default Noisy Timing Chains 4.7 L

Ok, so every time I start up my rig, I get this nasty ticking and chattering noise coming from the front of the motor until it warms up. The rig has 126000 miles on it, so would the timing chains be going already?

Mine's an '02 sxt, I have a similar sound coming from the side where the airbox is located. I was told by a couple different people that it most likely is the exhaust manifold gasket that's loose.......?

It isn`t the lifters. I know lifter noise when I hear it. This is coming from the front of the motor.

Well that is where your timing chain tentioners are, and you could have popped one off. Also it could be one of your cams and your lifter popped out because you have a 4.7L.

5.2L and 5.9L both like to tick a little, however you could have blown a Pentium gasket.
