Let us know how it goes. I've been wanting to get some of those upgraded injectors for a while, just haven't had the spare cash.

I will say that i have a friend that has been using these same injectors on his 5.9 durango for about 3 years with no issues and i recently have installed them with about 2 months no issues.

Any impressions of them? Better throttle response, smoother running, etc like the sellers claim with these ones?

I can't imagine any 'holy crap!' improvement, nothing worth the effort/expense. If you needed injectors for some reason, sure, kick it up a notch, but not just because they are out there to be bought.

I put them on mine and noticed all around improvements, but mostly because the old stock injectors were on their last legs.

hard to say what it would be when new/new is compared. For me, anyway.

I put in some of these injectors last fall too and they did seem to make things more responsive.

Make sure you get the green injectors though, I got sent the grey ones first and had problems with them. The guy had them on sale, and claimed they were only 2% higher flow than stock, but the car was cutting the fuel trim back as far as it could and was still running rich/like crap. Got him to send me the green ones to swap in and everything was fine then.

Yeah, I got the green ones. Worked like a charm.

Resurrecting an old thread here...can anyone tell me if the "upgraded" injectors are the 4 hole or and upgraded 2 hole injector? I am looking at some remafactured "Bosch Upgrade 4 Hole Dakota 4.7L 5.4L 5.9L Fuel Injector Set" off of Ebay.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lifetime-Wa...:pf:0#viTabs_0

It's looking like I have a bad injector on #8 cylinder and if I have to replace one, I thought it would be prudent to replace all 8 as my '01 Durango has 248k on it (approximately, too freaking cold and windy to verify lol) ...I will probably be doing the plugs at the same time...anything else I should consider if I'm that deep into it?

Thanks in advance

Steve

The 4 hole ones usually allow a more atomized fuel spray.

Thanks, I went ahead and ordered that set...hopefully it will help keep my '01 on the road quite a bit longer. I will post updates (or even a new thread) when I get them

Thanks again

Steve
