That is a good life! Mine went at 90,000 and I had it rebuilt.

I thought so too.... once i get everything in order i might take a ride to the Gettysburg battle field (30 min away) and talk to someone and see if i can snap some pics there. I know one spot if im allow i can stage a shot where it will look like the D is towing in a cannon...

 

I guess it depends on how the previous owner took care of it in your case. Mine's still going strong *knock on wood*. My '69 Plymouth has over 300,000 miles on the original engine and transmission without any major work; our transmissions are pretty much just an revision of the old ones from back in the day just like our engines are.

 

Well from 97 to 03 it was owned by a Dodge dealer so i am assuming it was used as a muti purpose truck and took on a life similar to a rental car with multiple drivers. 04 to 09 it was owned by a local guy in his 60's and i got it in 2010.

 

Yep it sure is nice having it back, and I was sick of those rental cars.

I figured I have a hayfield so I may as well use it.

Yeah at 174k I can't complain to much, just an excuse to upgrade stuff

What kind of camera do you use that_guy?

 

I just use my phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) 99% of the time. It handles everything I need it too really well. Every once on a while I'll use my parents Nikon SLR if I'm doing something fancy, but its a pain dealing with film anymore.
