I think the motor went. I took a video and I'll upload it later when I get a chance.

I took apart to motor to see what happened. It looks like the front bearing went bad and then the fan got stuck and burnt up the brushes on the motor.


I also found out that my fan (made by depo) only has a 1 year warranty, and I bought it last June, so I'm SOL it looks like.

Some say it's enough and some say it's not, but I have no experience with that since they didn't add it until 2000 and mine never had the TSB that added it done.

Yeah I got another Taurus fan from the junkyard for $25.
