Dakota digital is the company that makes the one I have. It monitors the temp via a separate sender (in the blue thing in the upper hose that you can see in the pictures above), the a/c state, and so on. Yeah, I know, nag, nag, nag... I fixed it though. I just unchecked 'show signatures' in Settings. Now I have to go find some big *** photo to add to my sig, like a cell tower or something.

 

I don't mind the signature pictures. It's better than staring at nothing but text if you ask me.
