Default Newbie Radiator Help

My 2000 Durango 5.9 blew a seam in its radiator. My husband, bless his heart, took it upon himself to replace it. On the test drive, something leaked out but he fixed it. He says that the A/C only blows hot just like the heater. It seems that the controls don't work or something. He says that it is not the refrigerant, the system has pressure. I'm thinking that it might be something simple that he forgot to hook up or...? Sorry I'm so ignorant, but I love my husband and my car. I thought that someone might have some thoughts. He is just kind of discouraged right now. They are both still running like champs. My Durango has 172k miles and my husband 61 yrs.

It could be a number of things but I would check the air conditioner clutch first to make sure it is engaging properly. New clutch assembly can be had for around $100 online, satisfaction of fixing it yourself priceless.
