Over ten years ago I put in a white gauge overlay. The original is gone. Now my eyes are ten years older and the white is terrible if it's not sunny or full dark. Dusk, cloudy, etc are unacceptable.

I have not checked a dealer, but I doubt they only have the overlay sheet (do they?). Obviously the junk yard is an option. Any ideas on where to get a new stock overlay for an '01?

 

I think it would probably easier and cheaper to find another aftermarket one that's easier on the eyes, but if you are set on a stock one, I'd think the junkyard would be your best bet. I don't think the dealer would have them because as far as they're concerned the instrument cluster is a non-serviceable part.

 

Can't go wrong with stock and shaved needles (frosted clear).
