Default 2002 Durango - how many miles do you have?

I've got 220,000. Did get the transmission rebuilt last year because it stopped backing up. Can I expect another 80K? I drive 70 miles a day, to and from work.

just bought an 01 SLT "Plus" w/a 360 and 214K because it was SOOO clean... southern body and well taken care of..had to put balljoints in (uppers had been changed at least once, lowers were original; did em all while I was wrenching. also replaced the OEM original shocks and LF hub bearing and all the fluids. IF it comes down to it engine or trans work don't scare me but I am no bodyman. I replaced a Cherokee XJ with this truck, which was my 2nd one of those...

I know of quite a few 318s/360s with over 300K and still going
is yours a 4.7? I know NOTHING about those.

to answer your question it depends on how well it has been maintained to date and how well it is maintained going forward

I'm the original owner, have kept up on routine maintenance (fluid changes), had the transmission rebuilt, and all the usual other replacement parts. All I can complain about is the left brake light not working (see post above) and a very noisy A/C compressor.

I paid $1,600 and put about $2k in parts for the suspension (tires, shocks, ball joints, ect)
It's my spare vehicle and road trip vehicle and I love it! I have taken it to Colorado from Texas and to California from Texas (when I lived in TX the past two years). Never had an issue with it. Not bad for a 4.7.

2001 Durango SLT Plus with the 4.7
Sits in my driveway with 179,4XX on it.

I have a 2001 Durango with 110,000 with a 4.7. Had to put 3 sensors, tires and a small hose can't remember what it goes to and a wheel hub/bearing. Needs tierods (inner?) and oil change. Tax time want to do the trans fluid. Also needs a winshield cracked and leaks somewhere

doing it yourself, a trans fluid/filter swap isnt that expensive but with todays labor rates I can see having to wait til tax time to afford it... if you think the trans fluid neesa changed "at all" leaving the old worn out crap in there that much longer sure ain't doing that tranny any good.
Outer tie rods are more likely than inners to go bad...jsut did mine, bought greaseable American made MOOG for around $45-ish a piece. Easy to change. I avoid the store brand "price point" imported crap.
You might wanna check them ball joints, thats most likely to go bad on these front ends. There was actuallya recall on the uppers so if they have never been done on yours you might be able to get them for free or cheap anyway...
Being mine has 214K on it and the recall had been done but were "shot" again; I went to the dealer and surprisingly I have to say they were quite reasonable on the "recall ball joint package" I bought both with all nuts and bolts included for less than 1 Moog would have cost at the parts store. Not greaseable but at least they are too, American made. so I didnt feel too bad putting them on. at least having been done the PITA of grinding and chiseling the rivets out of the originals had been done for me making them real quick and easy to change.

I too had to replace the driver side hub bearing last weekend, waiting til next payday this coming week, to get the other one as it's just starting to get noisey...
